The Ministry of Health organizes the Saudi Conference on Kidney Diseases next Sunday

The conference includes a presentation of the latest developments in the field of kidney diseases in its various subspecialties, with the participation of more than 46 elite speakers from inside and outside the Kingdom.

The conference aims to focus on presenting the latest developments in techniques and methods of treating kidney diseases, shedding light on the comprehensive renal care model and health transformation plans for kidney programs, in addition to bringing together specialists in renal care programs to exchange their experiences in all aspects of kidney disease diagnosis and treatment services, while the conference targets physicians Kidneys adults and children, kidney transplant doctors, internists and children, specialists and residents in kidney centers, nurses, and technicians working in all dialysis centers.

It is noteworthy that the annual increase in patients globally is from 11 to 15%, and the number of patients in the Kingdom is more than 23 thousand patients at the level of the Kingdom, and the Ministry of Health in kidney centers in government hospitals provides 65% of them with 14 thousand patients with hemodialysis and home peritoneal purification services, and implemented 2,646,930 dialysis sessions during this year, through 223 hemodialysis centers for adults.

The number of pediatric patients with renal failure is 148, who are provided with the service through 20 dialysis centers across the Kingdom, while 27 children have undergone kidney transplantation.
