The purchase or lease (contract of 2 years or more) of a low-polluting car or van, new or used, may qualify for financial assistance.
Good news, this ecological bonus, which was to be reduced by €1,000 for new electric cars from 1er July 2022, is finally maintained at €6,000 (€4,000 for a legal entity), within the limit of 27% of the purchase price including tax, until December 31, 2022. A purchase price which is, moreover, , increased to €47,000 (instead of €45,000 previously). Beyond €47,000 and up to €60,000, the bonus remains fixed at €2,000 until the same date. Knowing that above €60,000, the €2,000 bonus only benefits cars running on hydrogen.
Note: these amounts will remain applicable to vehicles invoiced no later than June 30, 2023 if they are ordered before December 31, 2022. The same will apply to vehicles whose rental contract will be signed before December 31, 2022 and whose the payment of the 1st rent will take place no later than June 30, 2023.
Similarly, the ecological bonus is maintained at €1,000 for new plug-in hybrid vehicles (car or van) until December 31, 2022. This applies to vehicles under €50,000 which emit between 21 and 50 g/km of CO2 and whose autonomy is greater than 50 km.
As initially planned, for new vans, the aid remains set at 40% of the purchase price including tax within the limit of €7,000 (€5,000 for a legal entity).
Note: for new cars and vans, the amount is increased by €1,000 for overseas residents provided they drive there for at least 6 months after acquisition.
As for second-hand vehicles, the aid still amounts to €1,000.
Reminder: the ecological bonus can be combined with the conversion bonus, which is paid, under certain conditions, when an old vehicle is scrapped.
