For the second day.. Gulf stocks continue to decline, and “Omani” is violating | Gulf newspaper



The majority of Gulf stocks fell on Monday, affected by global markets and the decline of the dollar, after the steps taken by the US authorities to curb the repercussions of the collapse of the SVB and Signature banks.

In Saudi Arabia, the main market index fell 0.76% to 10,305.09 points. The sukuk and bond market index fell 0.05% to 939.50 points. The number of traded shares amounted to 169.009 million shares, with a value of 4.804 billion Saudi riyals.

As for the Nomu – Parallel Market Index, it increased by 0.38% to 19,037.57 points.

The decline in the general index of the Kuwait Stock Exchange

The general index of the Kuwait Stock Exchange decreased by 0.29%, to reach the level of 7217.77 points. The volume of shares traded amounted to 117.4 million shares through 8,781 cash transactions, at a value of 35.8 million Kuwaiti dinars.

The main market index decreased by 0.45%, to reach the level of 5469.04 points, through the trading of 35 million shares through 2569 cash transactions, at a value of 4.5 million Kuwaiti dinars.

The first market index decreased by 0.25%, to reach the level of 8059.13 points, through the trading of 82.3 million shares through 6212 transactions, at a value of 31.2 million Kuwaiti dinars.

In parallel, the (Main 50) index decreased by 0.44%, to reach the level of 5590.91 points, through the trading of 32.6 million shares through 2255 cash transactions, at a value of 4.3 million Kuwaiti dinars.

In Bahrain, the Bahrain index fell 0.05% to 1,909.25 points. The Bahrain Islamic Index lost 0.42% to 657.84 points.

The Qatar Stock Exchange index fell

In Qatar, the Qatar Stock Exchange index fell 1.49% to 10,408 points. The trading volume in the market amounted to approximately 445 million Qatari riyals.

In the Sultanate of Oman, the Muscat Stock Exchange index «30» rose 0.65% at the level of 4894.01 points, compared to the last trading session, which amounted to 4862.32 points. The turnover amounted to 4.540 million Omani riyals.

Outside the Gulf region, the Egyptian Stock Exchange main index «EGX30» declined by 3.13%, at 15,438.5 points. The «EGX50» index decreased by 4.83% to 2,638.37 points. (agencies)
